Grand documentOriginal passage from the "Grand document".

-Lettre sans date ni lieu: He sends a statement of the balance due to N. on transactions in coins. He is truly sorry that his letter deploring the dispersal of N’s collections had offended him but is glad that at least he is endeavouring to preserve his coins. If he had been told beforehand he could have assisted him in his exigencies He would be very glad to have any Greek or Roman coins that fall in his way. He would be glad if N. could spare some of the tokens he had procured. He would be glad to help him to augment his collections of English coins. (Oxford, Bodleian Library, MS Eng. misc. d. 146, f° 24).
