-Lettre du 6 août 1783 (de Vienne) : réponse à une lettre du 22 juin de Cousinéry ; réponse aux renseignements demandés ; Eckhel se félicite d’avoir trouvé quelqu’un qui le secondera dans ses projets littéraires « J’ai beaucoup besoin des bons services des gens de lettres pour mon grand ouvrage sur toute la science numismatique, qui est déjà fort avancé » (Paris, Bibliothèque de l’Arsenal, Ms. 5983 ; Nicolet-Pierre 1987, p. 203; Williams – Woytek 2015a, p. 48, note 19).
