-Lettre du 16 oct. 1718 (de Paris) : « Le cabinet des Antiques & Médailles est à la vérité fort richement pourvu. De tous les articles de cette collection, il n’en est point qui m’ait plus davantage que l’Apothéose de Germanicus, dessinée sur une grande Agate, qui est une des plus belles pièces de ce genre que j’aie, je crois, encore vue.
