-Lettre du 12 mai 1719 (de Vicenza) : p. 81 : « imperium explicabant: onde da questa limitata autorità, in quanto al cerimoniale, non si può dedur il principio del regnare d'Augusto, nè d'altro Imperadore, quindi è, che quasi mai ſu le medaglie veggiamo espresso il titolo di Proconsolo: perchè era inferiore a tutte le altre dignità dei Regnanti, come aſſerisce lo Spanemio de praest. & usu Numism. pag. 799. della seconda edizione. Sicchè dunque restringendo in poco il già detto, non principiò a regnar solo Augusto nè nel 710, nè nel 727, nè nel 731. » ; p. 82 : « cioè Ottaviano, e Marcantonio, essendo già Lepido (quantunque si vegga su le medaglie intitolato anch'esso III. VIR. ITER. R. P. C.) in poca considerazione » (Zorzi 1726, p. 80-89).
