-Lettre du 4 décembre (sans date) (de Pise): “Vengo ora alla tiara, ma ho rossore di non averla potuta servire perché con tutte le diligenze usate e tutti i libri veduti, non mi è riescito di trovar roba buona. Nella mia raccolta di medaglie del Gesnero oltre ai Re de’ Parti, ci sono alcune medaglie di Abgaro Re di Odessa con tiara similissima alla moderna mitra, e nastri cadenti dietro al capo. » (Firenze, Biblioteca Marucelliana, BVII, 8, 456r-457v – online).
