-Lettre du 4 septembre 1565 (de Venise) : le graveur travaille aux gravures sur bois et l’auteur espère imprimer bientôt ; le commerce se languit : on ne trouve « alcuna cosa buona di antichità, et credo per esser tanto accresciuto il numero di coloro, che alla età nostra se ne dilettanno » ; Erizzo envoie « alcuna bella cosa d’istoria sopra di ciò facendomi partecipe de’ suoi bie concetti in cotale materia. Perché io le sentirò sempre per tal cagione un infinito obligo, si come ho dimostrato etiandio nel libro mio, facendo onorata mentione del nome suo in più d’un luogo » (Vicenza, Biblioteca civica Bertoliana, Ms 277, f° 123r-v ; F.
