-Lettre du 13 janvier 1559 (de Venise) : à propos de la première édition de son livre qui « si stampa » et qui devrait étre terminé pour le printemps : « alcune dichiarationi di molte medaglie, con un mio discorso sopra esse medaglie, che è veramente il frutto ch’io vo raccogliendo dello studio delle medaglie, per mezzo delle Istorie Romane et Greche ; sopra il cui fondamento ho composto le dette espositioni, acciò che V.S. si diletta delle antichità, possa a ciascuno con ragione dimostrare, che si diletta d’uno studio nobile et utile » (Vicenza, Biblioteca civica Bertoliana, Ms 277, f° 58r-59v ; F.
