Grand documentOriginal passage from the "Grand document".

-Lettre du 6 août 1723 (de Leiden): He conveys greetings to Montfaucon and says his (H’s.) Lucretius will be printed within a year. On behalf of Luchtmann who is making an edition of Lactantius he asks him to trace and procure if possible the very ample MS. collations of a learned scholar in France whose name he has failed to ascertain. And for himself asks O. on his travels to pick up any Greek coins, in whatever condition, for his collection of ancient coins. (Oxford, Bodleian Library, MS D’Orville 486 fol. 10).
