Grand documentOriginal passage from the "Grand document".
-Lettre du 2 mars 1684 (?): Literary production has been at a standstill since COLBERT’s death, but he hears today that THEVENOT’s voyage is to be printed in Paris, in 3 vols, and a translation by de la CROIX of the Spanish writer Laurenzo. The royal medals are now all the fashion, the King delights in them and is having them depicted at Versailles. All interested Visitors are welcomed at Versailles.
