'So y^t I resolve you shall part with none of yo^r medalls from mee, if I am able to purchase y^m & therefore Sr I pray send mee the price you sett on all y^e Coss: Medalls in yo^r 4 Boxes, w^ch I have not, or w^ch you have therein, for tho I may have many duplicates (by such a number as you & I have) yett I suppose yo^rs better yⁿ mine, & so I will keep yo^rs under a title of Collectio Curtinia (for y^e due respect ought to bee given yor 20 years Work. [Coleraine said that he would dispose of his own ‘supernumeraries’] still (as far as I can) to carry on & to compleat yo^r Designe, & to keep yo^r Collection intire for the Creditt of this Gentle (?) part of Learning, w^ch is yett much a stranger in England.'
