'Since you went hen[ce] Mr Newman presented my Ld [Sir Daniel Harvey] with his collection of medalls; it was my Lds desire that Mr Joh[n] Harvey (ye Q. Treasurer) should take his choyce of what he plea’d the rest \he said/ he car’d not what became of them. If I did not then ask the remain for myself, though you know I ame [ ] kind of a moth eaten Antiquary; neither shall I be so bold as to trouble Sr Eliab w[ ] such a request; I onely take this freedom of exposing my mind to your guesse.'
