'during my stay in Italy I have bought ... many ancient and excellent coins, besides severall waights used in the Romans time, and have had the favor in this kinde to have the sight and use of the best things in Rome. ... If you could meete with any Greek coins in silver or brasse with this inscription ΔΡΑΓΜΑ you should do me a speciall favour to buy them, as also any that have this inscription ΟΒΟΛΟΣ.'
