Vous m’avez fait tant des honneurs a Cambridge que je m’en peu point souvenir sans regretter en meme tems l’etat, dans lequel je me trouve qui me rend incapable de vous faire des services de ma part. En attendent, je vous payeray avec des paroles, jusques a que \ma/ Solita Fortuna me donne des moyens de vous recompenser reellement. Les Medailles d’or que je Vous ay promis Monsieur sont entre mes mains. Si Vous fiez plus a Vos propres yeux qu’a miennes, je Vous les envoyeray a Cambridge. Je les garderay toujours jusques a que j’auray recu vos ordres la dessus.
Si Vous change de dessein meme apres que vous les avez achetter je les reprenderay toujours pur le meme prix. Je Vous prie Monsieur de faire mon compliment a tous mes vrays amis de Cambridge ayant avec tout le respect imaginable, Monsieur Votre tres humble et tres obeissant Serviteur
