Grand documentOriginal passage from the "Grand document".

'I am under a great deal of greif for the news he [Mr March] brings wth him of the death of poor Mr Owen, wch is so much ye more shocking as it was perfectly unexpected … & if you please to permit me to inherit those wch you intended for Mr Owen I mean those Books of Medals wch you reserv’d for him I will desire Mr March to pay you for them & stop ye coming of them out of Holland, whence I am apprehensive I may be forced to wait for them much longer than I desire. Perhaps Mr Owens Collection may be expos’d to sale, if you are desirous of any of them please give me yr Co’mand & they shall be faithfully executed.' (Royal Scoiety, MS 252/297; Burnett 2020b, p. 620 n. 424)
