Grand documentOriginal passage from the "Grand document".

'D’Ewes described a second instalment, of many (‘plurima’) bronzes from after Commodus to Arcadius, and some ‘definitely genuine’ silver coins of Galba, Vitellius and other (unspecified) rare emperors and empresses. He also pointed out that often bronze coins are worth much more than gold, responding to the apparent reproach (‘calumniae’) that he was not giving any gold.' (summary from Burnett 2020b, p. 382)
