'Yor Lordshp seeming desirous of buying gold medals I make an offer of my own Collection having an Intention to part with them, they are to the number of 57, all originals and very well preserved, yor Lordshp shall have the refusal according to my promise. I have several Duplicates of Saxon, Danish, & English Coins which I shall not dispose of till I know yor Lordshps pleasure concerning them. [also a bill for the 54 coins, £6:19s].'
