Grand documentOriginal passage from the "Grand document".

'A coyn I got of Carausius, very rare, found at Horncastle. It has been silvered over. The legend of the reverse is obscure. It seems to be a figure sitting on a coat armour or trophy, with a garland in her left [hand], and VICTORIA AVG.' (Lukis 1882-1887, vol. 2, p. 314; Burnett 2020b, p. 1676)
